Have Thompson Square Crash Your Wedding!

Country’s most adorable couple, Thompson Square, wants to crash your wedding with the help of CMT! Stoney Creek Records’ Thompson Square have partnered with CMT to launch the “Thompson Square ‘Crash My Wedding’ Dream Honeymoon” contest. The online contest started on Friday, March 25 and ends April 27 on CMT.com. To enter, fans need to submit short essays about why Thompson Square should crash their wedding. The grand prize winner will have the choice of taking a dream honeymoon trip to either Chicago, Las Vegas, Miami Beach, New Orleans or New York City. In addition, Thompson Square will “crash” the grand prize winner’s wedding reception and perform a song. Currently, the music video for Thompson Square’s chart-topping single, “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not,” has reached #2 CMT Top 20 Countdown and holds the #3 position for CMT.com’s High 5 videos of the week. Little Big Town takes over TV Tuesday! Little Big Town is scheduled to appear for the first time on CBS’ The Talk on Tuesday, March 29 before joining CONAN on TBS for a performance of their current single, “The Reason Why”. Don’t forget to either tune in or set your DVRs! We’re really looking forward to playing CONAN again as well as visiting The Talk for the first time. We’ll be singing the new single ‘The Reason Why,’” said the band’s Karen Fairchild. “It’s gonna be a great week leading up to the ACM’s. Following their performances on The Talk and CONAN, Little Big Town will join the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 3 before hitting the road again on April 5 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Dwight Yoakam Lends Voice to Michelle Branch

Dwight Yoakam Sings In New Duet with Michelle Branch Iconic country singer Dwight Yoakam, known over the past couple of decades not only for his considerable musical talent but also his acting capabilities, is featured on Michelle Branch‘s track “Long Goodbye“. “One of my favorite artists is Dwight Yoakam. When I was in the studio in Nashville, we met and I told him it would be a dream come true if he sang on my record. Next thing you know, he was in the studio singing “Long Goodbye” with me. I couldn’t imagine this song without his voice on it.” -Michelle Branch Branch transitioned from Pop music, known for her massively popular album, Hotel Paper, onto the Country Music scene through her collaboration with Jessica Harp in their duo group The Wreckers and hit album Stand Still, Look Pretty.
