Charlie Daniels,, Famed Country Music Legend, Has Died at Age 83

Country Music Hall of Famer Charlie Daniels of Wilmington North Carolina has sadly passed from this world today.

Daniels’ publicist, Don Murray Grubbs, confirmed he died Monday morning after a hemorrhagic stroke, the Tennessean reported. He died at a hospital in Hermitage, Tennessee, according to The Associated Press.

Arrangements for Daniels’ funeral and memorial services will be announced in the coming days, although a small private family affair is to be expected at first due to coronavirus restrictions, while a larger celebrity tribute may follow.

Daniels is survived by his wife, Hazel, and his son, Charlie Daniels Jr.
