Carnival Music singer-songwriter Kylie Frey heads into the peak of summer travel season with her boot on the gas, announced today (7/1) as Texas Roadhouse’s July Artist of the Month.
With over 600 highly-trafficked locations across the U.S., Texas Roadhouse is one of the nation’s premiere steakhouses chains, with each location seeing over 20,000 guests per month.
As the July Artist of the Month, Frey’s music will be featured on in-store jukeboxes and also on Texas Roadhouse’s Jukebox Jams Spotify playlist, spotlighting her genuine brand of pure country music during one of the busiest travel months of the year. And for an extra kick, the national chain will also play Frey’s just-premiered “Woman Outta Love” music video in heavy rotation.
Directed by Wales Toney, the aching video debuted today (7/1), showcasing the complicated emotions of a romantic dead end and the terrible choice of what to do next.
A timeless new track tapping raw country desperation, “Woman Outta Love” was co-written by Frey with Grace Tyler and Neal Coty. Matching a tender touch of guitar and fiddle with Frey’s deep-Southern vocal, the devastated ballad was released in April (just after Frey’s stunning appearance on the CMT Music Awards red carpet), as she powerfully dug into a conflicted kind of heartbreak.
Meanwhile, Frey just wrapped a nationwide tour with Randall King, and as one of CMT’s Next Women of Country class of 2024, the artist hailed as one of country’s most-promising new females continues to see strong ticket sales in markets across the Texas Roadhouse heartland.
Along with “Woman Outta Love,” her recent releases include the two-stepping “So You Think You Want a Cowboy” and the rough-and-tumble dream-chaser’s anthem “Miss Thang,” which was highlighted on Spotify’s Fresh Finds and recently celebrated as Frey’s 10th #1 on The Texas Regional Radio Chart.
