<p>Last night, in Las Vegas, the 51<sup>st</sup> annual <a title="ACM Awards" href="https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/1224809/264167/4272?subId1=WPScmnbACM&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Facademy-of-country-music-awards-tickets%2Fartist%2F866377&partnerpropertyid=5213910&MediaPartnerPropertyId=5213910">ACM Awards</a> celebrated the last year of Country music. Among those taking home awards were Nashville’s underdog hit-makers turned Country’s next-big-thing.</p>
<p><strong><a title="Old Dominion" href="https://stubhub.prf.hn/click/camref:1100ljXyr/pubref:WPSOldDominion/ar:CMNBAutoLink/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stubhub.com%2Fold-dominion-tickets%2F">Old Dominion</a></strong> were awarded the New Vocal Group Of The Year accolade as well as being nominated for vocal group of the year alongside artists such as <strong><a title="Zac Brown Band" href="https://stubhub.prf.hn/click/camref:1100ljXyr/pubref:WPSZBB/ar:CMNBAutoLink/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stubhub.com%2Fzac-brown-band-tickets%2F">Zac Brown Band</a></strong> and winner <strong><a title="Little Big Town" href="https://countrymusicontour.com/new-little-big-town-tour-dates/">Little Big Town</a></strong>. They were also invited to perform at the ceremony in front of the packed out audience of over 16,000 Country fans and 16.2 million viewers at home. It was a monumental moment for the band.</p>

<p>It has been a huge year for <a title="Old Dominion" href="https://stubhub.prf.hn/click/camref:1100ljXyr/pubref:WPSOldDominion/ar:CMNBAutoLink/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stubhub.com%2Fold-dominion-tickets%2F">Old Dominion</a>. After writing hits behind-the-scenes for other artists this is the first time the Nashville 5-piece have been the stars of the show. Just to list a few of their achievements; they scooped a major-label contract (after a bidding war), released their debut album ‘Meat and Candy’, scored their first #1 as a band with hit single ‘Break Up With Him’, performed on prime-time US television including Jimmy Kimmel Live and completed a mammoth US stadium tour with <strong><a title="Kenny Chesney" href="https://stubhub.prf.hn/click/camref:1100ljXyr/pubref:WPSChesney/ar:CMNBAutoLink/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stubhub.com%2Fkenny-chesney-tickets%2F">Kenny Chesney</a></strong>.</p>
<p>The band also took their first trip to the UK to perform at London’s C2C Festival, where their energetic sets at both Brooklyn Bowl and indigo2 were both widely considered highlights of the weekend. At their own headline show at London’s Hoxton Bar &; Kitchen &#8211; much to <a title="Old Dominion" href="https://stubhub.prf.hn/click/camref:1100ljXyr/pubref:WPSOldDominion/ar:CMNBAutoLink/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stubhub.com%2Fold-dominion-tickets%2F">Old Dominion</a>’s surprise and joy &#8211; the packed out crowd were singing along to every word.</p>
<p>The past year has propelled <a title="Old Dominion" href="https://stubhub.prf.hn/click/camref:1100ljXyr/pubref:WPSOldDominion/ar:CMNBAutoLink/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stubhub.com%2Fold-dominion-tickets%2F">Old Dominion</a> to heights they had only previously dreamed of. The near future includes further single releases, more touring and penning new songs. Before long their success could reach dizzying levels.</p>
