Series to feature Lily Rose, Ashley Cooke, CB30, Alexandra Kay, BRELAND and Priscilla Block
Today, CMT introduces its newest short-form digital series, “Viral to Verified,” first person accounts from six fast-rising artists who are making waves on social media and in country music. Featuring one artist per weekly episode, “Viral to Verified” kicks off with Lily Rose, followed by Ashley Cooke, CB30, Alexandra Kay, BRELAND and Priscilla Block, all premiering on CMT’s socials, including Instagram and TikTok, the very platforms that ignited these artists’ most recent successes.

“Viral to Verified”’s first episode features Lily Rose, a longtime singer songwriter out of Atlanta whose big moment came when she uploaded her song ‘Villain’ to TikTok in October 2020. The song exploded, quickly hitting the top of iTunes all-genre chart, and catapulted Rose to a present day record deal, publishing deal and a slot on Chris Lane’s upcoming fall tour. “Viral to Verified” is spearheaded by Melissa Goldberg, Sr. Director, CMT Digital; Corey Janus, serves as Executive Producer; Chandler Alteri as Producer; and Brittany Lutz, as Line Producer. Each week, “Viral to Verified” shines a spotlight on new and diverse voices in country music who have recently found widespread acclaim, most after working at their craft for years, thanks to overwhelming viral success on social media. This short-form series, specifically designed for social media, joins other CMT Digital programming such as CMT Campfire Sessions, On The Road, and Pardi Time starring Jon Pardi.
