Fans of country artist-songwriter Brandon Davis have been clamoring for more new music since he released his heartwarming debut album ‘Hearts Don’t Rust’ on April 15 via Big Yellow Dog Music. On June 3rd, Davis will share four re-imagined versions of the album’s songs and one never-before-heard song via ‘Hearts Don’t Rust (Acoustic).’

“‘Forever and Always’ is the very first song I ever wrote for my wife back in 2017,” says Davis. “When it came time for our wedding day, I managed to slip a copy of the song I had cut live with my family band to the DJ for our first dance without my wife knowing. At the time, it was the only way I could afford to have a recorded version of the song for our first dance. Holding her close in that moment when the song first started to play is a memory I’ll never forget. I’m so thankful to finally be able to share this song with the rest of the world the way it was meant to be heard.”
‘Hearts Don’t Rust (Acoustic)’ strips back the production of Davis’ music to spotlight his skill for slice-of-life storytelling and hearty vocals that will remind listeners of 90’s country staples. On “Forever And Always (Acoustic)” Davis reflects on his personal relationship journey with his wife Destiny from meeting for the first time to the moment he knew she was the one; meeting her two children to having two more children together.
