Scott Country music newcomer and former corporal in the United States Marines, Gunner S. Scott, began his music career after making a promise to a friend. PFC Ryan Larson was killed in action in Afghanistan on June 15, 2011, and driven by the bond that they shared and the promise that he made, Gunner taught himself how to play the guitar and began carving his own path for Nashville. His original music is influenced by the rock and country outlaws he listened to throughout his life, from Garth to Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert and Brian Davis. Motivated by his passion for music, his love for performing and the desire to touch our nation’s heroes with his lyrics, this talented singer-songwriter and honest storyteller is poised to make waves in Music City. He hopes that with his music, he can “join the fight for veterans” and help reach out to them with lyrics that touch on their shared experiences.
