Rascal Flatts: There’s Nothing Like This tour kicks off this Friday! Rascal Flatts has announced that they will kick off a new tour this Friday, June 25 in Raleigh, North Carolina. The first leg of the “JC Penney Presents Rascal Flatts Nothing Like This Tour.” will continue with 28 shows through September 19 at Boston’s Comcast Center. Rascal Flatts Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

According to a list released today by The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, Rascal Flatts will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “To have only wanted to make music since childhood, this far exceeds any expectations I ever had,” said Rascal Flatts lead vocalist Gary LeVox. Guitarist Joe Don Rooney noted, “Having our name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has to be one of the coolest things that’s ever happened to Rascal Flatts. I’m honored and completely humbled.” Bassist Jay DeMarcus added, “I am so humbled, filled with gratitude and completely overcome with emotion. … I guess we’ve really done something after all.” Though no specific date and location have  been confirmed, the star is set to be unveiled sometime in 2011. Rascal Flatts on American Idol

Rascal Flatts, the decades top-selling and most awarded group in country music, will perform their hit “Unstoppable” on American Idol Wednesday, April 28th. This is Rascal Flatt’s 3rd appearance on Idol. They will also join Shakira on stage to perform her single “Gypsy.” Rascal Flatts also just announced they will have a new single out in June and a new album out in September. With the closing of Lyric Street, it should be more than interesting to see whether they make any artistic changes with a new label.Country Music Photo Gallery

Rascal Flatts Offers iTunes Pass

Rascal Flatts is now the FIRST country music act to offer an all-access iTunes pass! Rascal Flatts is bringing their fans a summer of Flatt-out awesome music as the first country act to offer an iTunes Pass. With the purchase of a Rascal Flatts iTunes Pass fans will receive automatic weekly downloads of never before released music each week this summer, including live concert recordings, studio rehearsals and lost demos. The first wave of songs will be released July 21 with new content made available every Tuesday through September 1. Offerings include live concert recordings of “I’m Movin’ On,” “Mayberry” and “Bless The Broken Road,” live in-studio cuts of “What Hurts The Most,” “Take Me There” and “Here Comes Goodbye” along with unreleased demo recordings. A total of 28 Rascal Flatts recordings are scheduled to be released during this timeframe. Rascal Flatts recently placed their fourth consecutive studio album atop the Top 200 chart with the release of Unstoppable, with sales of 351,000 albums. Rascal Flatts Sell Out Wrigley Field!

Rascal Flatts become the first country music act to perform at Wrigley Field, and they pack the house! Rascal Flatts is now the first country act to perform a concert in historic Wrigley Field in Chicago this past Saturday night. The boys met a sold-out crowd of 37,000 fans for one of only four concerts ever played in the Chicago Cubs home stadium. Opening acts included Vince Gill and Darius Rucker. The four-hour energy packed show was filled with Rascal Flatts biggest hits, among them “My Wish,” “What Hurts The Most,” “Here Comes Goodbye,” “Bob The Head” and new smash single “Summer Nights.” More great music was showcased when Gill was brought on stage mid-way through Flatts set to perform “Whenever You Come Around” with Gary, Jay and Joe Don. Rucker performed with Flatts during their two finale tunes, Hootie & the Blowfish’s “Hold My Hand” and “Life Is A Highway,” which became an award-winning remake hit for Flatts. The band will bring their “Rascal Flatts American Living Unstoppable Tour” to its second stadium show planned this summer to Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio on August 9.
