According to a list released today by The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, Rascal Flatts will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“To have only wanted to make music since childhood, this far exceeds any expectations I ever had,” said Rascal Flatts lead vocalist Gary LeVox. Guitarist Joe Don Rooney noted, “Having our name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has to be one of the coolest things that’s ever happened to Rascal Flatts. I’m honored and completely humbled.” Bassist Jay DeMarcus added, “I am so humbled, filled with gratitude and completely overcome with emotion. … I guess we’ve really done something after all.”
Though no specific date and location have been confirmed, the star is set to be unveiled sometime in 2011. Congratulations to this outstanding trio. They are very well deserving of this!!
