CMA Has Network Television Going Country!

Here’s your lineup of country music specials set to air on network television this fall, courtesy of the Country Music Association!

We’re all familiar with the CMA Awards, but did you know that the Country Music Association does so much more than hand out trophies? All month long, CMA will be showcasing some of the best that the country music industry has to offer on ABC. At the same time, other networks are riding this country music wave with specials of their own.

Tuesday November 2nd
On ABC – Taylor Swift will perform on Dancing With The Stars

Wednesday November 3rd
On ABC – “In The Spotlight with Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville” airs, featuring an inside look at Brad Paisley’s home, Carrie Underwood’s wedding, and more.
On CBS – Brad Paisley will webcast from the Ed Sullivan Theater for a special “Live on Letterman” Performance.

Thursday November 4th
On ABC – Brad Paisley will perform live on Good Morning America.

Tuesday November 9th
On ABC – Reba McEntire will celebrate her release of “All The Women I Am” with a special live performance on Good Morning America.

Wednesday November 10th
On ABC – THE 44TH ANNUAL CMA AWARDS SHOW HOSTED BY BRAD PAISLEY AND CARRIE UNDERWOOD!!! Special performances include Dierks Bentley, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Reba, Blake Shelton, George Strait, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Underwood and Keith Urban. In addition, special performances will feature Gwyneth Paltrow in her live Country Music singing debut, performing with Vince Gill; top nominee Lambert with Sheryl Crow in a tribute to Loretta Lynn’s 50th Anniversary as a recording artist; and Zac Brown Band with Alan Jackson. Presenters include The Band Perry, Luke Bryan, Easton Corbin, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Jerrod Niemann, Kellie Pickler, LeAnn Rimes, Darius Rucker, Chris Young, and NASCAR champion Jeff Gordon with more to be announced soon.

Wednesday November 10th
On ABC – Blake Shelton will make a special post-awards-show appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Sunday November 14th
On ABC – Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and LeAnn Rimes all take part in a special episode of “Extreme Makeover: Home Addition” as they help restore a home and school in Nashville that was devastated by the May 1st floods.

Monday November 15th
On ABC – Lyle Lovett plays a guest star role on an episode of “Castle”.
On CMT – Invitation Only with Rascal Flatts premieres.
On ABC – Jason Aldean takes the Jimmy Kimmel Live stage to perform “My Kinda Party”.

Wednesday November 17
On ABC – Reba turns up on an episode of “Better With You”, reuniting her with her TV daughter JoAnna Garcia.

Thursday November 25th
On NBC – Taylor Swift “Speak Now” special that highlights the journey to and release of the new album (We predict she will announce a 2011 Speak Now tour for North America on this special!)
On CNN – Sugarland to appear on “CNN HEROES: An All-Star Tribute” celebrating everyday people that change the world.

Monday November 29th
On ABC – CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS AIRS, HOSTED BY SUGARLAND’S JENNIFER NETTLES. Country’s biggest stars join together to celebrate the holidays! In true Christmas spirit, these artists will celebrate the season with songs and stories that are sure to warm your heart. Joined by some of their family members, Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker, LeAnn Rimes, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts, Reba, Sheryl Crow, and Sugarland will share with fans their holiday traditions and memories. “CMA Country Christmas” will tape in front of a live audience on Thursday, November 11 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

Sunday December 5th
On VH1 – Sugarland is booked to appear on the “VH1 Divas Salute to the Troops”.

Monday December 6th
On Fox – The American Country Awards launches it’s first-ever awards show live from Las Vegas. Lady Antebellum and Easton Corbin collected seven nominations apiece to head the list of finalists for the inaugural American Country Awards. Carrie Underwood got six nods, and Miranda Lambert tied Josh Turner with five.Country Music Photo Gallery
