<h3>Josh Osborne&#8217;s Writing Skills Land Him A #1 Song With &#8220;Come Over.&#8221;</h3>
<p>On stands now, <strong>Country Weekly</strong>’s August 20 issue features <strong>Black River Publishing</strong> writer <strong>Josh Osborne</strong> with <strong>Shane McAnally</strong> and <strong><a title="Sam Hunt" href="https://stubhub.prf.hn/click/camref:1100ljXyr/pubref:WPSSamHunt/ar:CMNBAutoLink/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stubhub.com%2Fsam-hunt-tickets%2F">Sam Hunt</a></strong> as the songwriters of <strong><a title="Kenny Chesney" href="https://stubhub.prf.hn/click/camref:1100ljXyr/pubref:WPSChesney/ar:CMNBAutoLink/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stubhub.com%2Fkenny-chesney-tickets%2F">Kenny Chesney</a></strong>’s multi-week number one, “<em><strong>Come Over</strong></em>.” </p>
<p>Certified Gold in just over nine weeks, “<em>Come Over</em>” is the fastest Gold single certification in Chesney’s career and the first number one for Osborne.</p>
<p>In addition to “Come Over,” Josh also co-wrote <strong><a title="Chris Young" href="https://countrymusicontour.com/chris-young-concert-tour-tickets/">Chris Young</a></strong>’s current single, &#8220;<em><strong>Neon</strong></em>,&#8221; and the <strong>Lost Trailers</strong>’ single, &#8220;<em>A<strong>merican Beauty</strong></em>.&#8221; On August 2, “American Beauty” was featured during a Late Night In London montage celebrating American gymnast and gold medalist <strong>Gabby Douglas</strong>. Josh Osborne, <strong>Mason Douglas</strong> and <strong>Matt Jenkins</strong> specifically tailored the lyrics for the segment honoring Gabby on Dial Global Sports, the exclusive national radio broadcaster for the<strong> London 2012 Olympic Games</strong>.</p>
<p>Osborne&#8217;s songwriting has also made its mark in Hollywood. Pop star <strong>Katy Perry</strong> took special notice of &#8220;<em><strong>Merry Go &#8216;Round</strong></em>,&#8221; the debut single from new artist <strong><a title="Kacey Musgraves" href="https://stubhub.prf.hn/click/camref:1100ljXyr/pubref:WPSMusgraves/ar:CMNBAutoLink/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stubhub.com%2Fkacey-musgraves-tickets%2F">Kacey Musgraves</a></strong>.
