<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After dabbling in the rock world (and earning some serious metalhead cred with <em>QUIT!!</em>), the Mississippi-born hitmaker is trading distortion for dobro on his newly announced album <em>COUNTRY! COUNTRY!</em>, set to drop <strong>September 26</strong> via Big Loud Records.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The announcement came with a teaser of his latest single, <em>“Bottomland”</em>, and now that it’s officially out, we can confirm—it’s got that fresh-country edge <a title="HARDY" href="https://stubhub.prf.hn/click/camref:1100ljXyr/pubref:WPSHardy/ar:CMNBAutoLink/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stubhub.com%2Fhardy-tickets%2F">HARDY</a> fans have been craving. With nods to his backwoods upbringing, a shoutout to Mossy Oak camo, and lyrics that wrap around his Southern roots like a good hunting jacket, this song might just be the anthem of his reentry into the genre.</p>

COUNTRY!</em> as a “refreshed” take on the genre, laced with reflections on youth, Southern pride, and even a little side-eye at the state of mainstream country music.</p>
