NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 28, 2014) – Multi-talented and multi-platinum recording artist Hunter Hayes is entering a new dimension with the fresh music video for his current single, “Tattoo,” premiering worldwide across CMT platforms and on more than 120 Clear Channel country station websites, along with the newly launched CMT Artists App for iPhone and Android today, July 28. 
Directed by Kristen Barlowe, the street-art-inspired piece brings “Tattoo” to life with animated graphics, graffiti art and of course, a beautiful brunette who plays the muse to Hayes’ energetic performance.
Hayes has been dropping hints about the new video in the weeks leading up to the premiere, sharing exclusive sneak peeks with CMT.com, Rolling Stone Country, People.com, Perez Hilton, Taste of Country and Country Weekly.
“With a song like ‘Tattoo,’ it’s a very visual thing,” Hayes told PEOPLE Country. “Lyrically, the goal is to bring you to a place where all these artistic elements of inspiration come to life around you. So, for the video, rather than just explain how a relationship can inspire you, we wanted to go beyond the expected and make a musically inspired moment jump out of a two-dimensional space.”
