<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&#8220;When I heard this song for the first time, I knew it was right on-brand for me,” says Owen. “I wanted to release ’Drunk On A Boat’ as the sun sets on the season and give everyone a feel-good summer memory as we head into fall.” </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">“Drunk On A Boat” was written by Rodney Clawson, Jake Mitchell and David Lee Murphy, and produced by Joey Moi. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The new track follows last month’s release of Owen’s current single, <strong>“Best Thing Since Backroads,”</strong> which is nearing Top 20 at Country radio after becoming the #1 most-added week upon its arrival. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Both of the new songs mark a new chapter from the Florida-born hit-maker, after 2019’s extremely successful <em><strong>GREETINGS FROM…JAKE </strong></em>album. That project featured three chart-toppers (<strong>“I Was Jack (You Were Diane)</strong>,”<strong> “Homemade,”“Made for You”</strong>) and a PLATINUM-certified smash (<strong>“Down to the Honkytonk”</strong>) – and just crossed ONE BILLION on-demand streams in August. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On October 9, Owen will headline <strong>The Flamingo Jam</strong> in his hometown of Vero Beach, Florida, with proceeds benefiting The <a title="Jake Owen" href="https://stubhub.prf.hn/click/camref:1100ljXyr/pubref:WPSJakeOwen/ar:CMNBAutoLink/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stubhub.com%2Fjake-owen-tickets%2F">Jake Owen</a> Foundation and its mission to support children battling cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases. And he’ll finish out the month with an October 30 appearance at the star-studded iHeartCountry Festival in Austin, Texas.</p>
