<p><strong>(Nashville, Tenn. &ndash; June 17, 2015)</strong> &ndash; Country Music legend <strong>John Anderson</strong> is gearing up to take his rhythm to the road as he amps up for a whirlwind summer tour. On the heels of his latest album release, <em>Goldmine</em>, which was released May 26, the stateside tour will kick-off this week and will take Anderson to numerous venues across the country.</p>
<p>In a recent interview with <em>Billboard 615</em>, Anderson commented about taking his new material to the road to perform for fans across the country, <em>&ldquo;It is an appreciation to the fans. I&rsquo;ve seen them standing in the pouring rain, in the heat of the summer. They may complain to each other, but they don&rsquo;t complain to us. They&rsquo;ll be dancing out there when it&rsquo;s 110 degrees, raising cane, and having a good time. They deserve a &lsquo;thank you&rsquo; for sure, and I&rsquo;m honored to have so many loyal fans.&rdquo;</em></p>

<p><em>Goldmine</em> has already been receiving rave reviews, and has been well received from some of the music industry&rsquo;s top publications. <strong>Rolling Stone</strong> recently published an <span><a href="http://www.rollingstone.com/music/features/hear-john-anderson-pay-respect-to-merle-haggards-magic-mama-20150603">article</a></span> citing the origins of one of album&rsquo;s featured singles, <strong>&ldquo;Magic Mama.&rdquo;</strong> Written by the legendary <strong>Merle Haggard</strong> specifically for Anderson, the song is an <em>&ldquo;imagery-rich number that is a rollicking standout on the new album.&rdquo;</em></p>
<p>Haggard commented on his relationship with Anderson, saying, <em>&ldquo;I am a big John Anderson fan. Don&rsquo;t know of anything he ever did that I didn&rsquo;t like! &lsquo;Magic Mama&rsquo; I wrote especially for him. It was recorded in an excellent way, just the way I pictured it. Love you John, I love the whole album.&rdquo;</em></p>
<p>Anderson&rsquo;s previously released <em>All the People are Talkin&rsquo;</em> (1983) was also featured by <em>Rolling Stone</em> on their <span><strong><a href="http://www.rollingstone.com/music/lists/50-country-albums-every-rock-fan-should-own-20150603/junior-brown-12-shades-of-brown-1990-20150602">&ldquo;50 Country Albums Every Rock Fan Should Own&rdquo;</a></strong></span> list earlier this month. In addition to being the Country giant&rsquo;s first release in 9 years, Goldmine has been featured in leading Country music news outlets, including <span><em><strong><a href="http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/the-615/6582973/john-anderson-talks-working-with-josh-turner-merle-haggard-goldmine">Billboard&rsquo;s 615</a></strong></em></span>, <span><em><strong><a href="http://theboot.com/john-anderson-goldmine-album-interview/">The Boot</a></strong></em></span>, <em><strong>NASH Country Weekly</strong></em> and many others.</p>
<p>Noted music critic <strong>Robert K. <p>Anderson co-produced the album with long-time friend <strong>Joe Spivey</strong> on his own record label <strong>Bayou Boys Music</strong>. It features songs of faith, family, loss, the love of life, and more. The rocking mid-tempo track is in the style of previous chart-topping hits, such as &ldquo;Money in the Bank.&rdquo;</p>
<p>Throughout his career, Anderson has produced 31 albums and released more than 60 singles (26 of which charted in the Top 10). He was inducted into the <strong>Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame</strong> on October 5, 2014 and holds a wealth of industry awards, including <strong>Academy of Country Music Career Achievement Award</strong>.</p>
