Josh Gracin gets the revival spirit as he shoots for the upcoming Billy Graham biography “Billy: The Early Years”
Country crooner Josh Gracin takes a break from his own hits to play the part of George Beverly Shea in “Billy: The Early Years“, a biographical film about the younger years of spiritual evangelist Billy Graham. George Beverly Shea was a grammy-winning singer who frequented Graham’s famed revivals. The film is shooting in Tennessee through mid-may.
“He was a force to be reckoned with in gospel music, and still is,” Josh told The Tennessean. “When they said they wanted me to do this part, and I found out it was only one or two lines, I said, ‘Hey, I’ll do it.'”

The correct singer/actor featured in the film is JOSH TURNER. Wrong picture, too.
Thank you for the correction gamble…I thought I was losing my mind. I can see Josh Turner so much more than J. G.
