Before her performance she kindly answered the morning show&#8217;s clearly clueless anchor, letting him know that country artists don&#8217;t really &#8220;smack talk&#8221; but didn&#8217;t shy away from confirming her preference for bluntness (l<em>ike we didn&#8217;t know!</em>). Musgraves performed current single &#8220;<strong><em>Merry Go Round</em></strong>,&#8221; and did a really great job.
