Kylie Frey Drops the Hammer on Full Throttle Honky Tonker “Miss Thang”

Rising country star and Carnival Music singer-songwriter Kylie Frey hits the ground running in early 2024, announcing a rough-and-tumble, full-throttle honky tonker as her new single – “Miss Thang.”

Kylie Frey New Single Arriving Next Friday

Arriving Friday, January 26, the up-tempo track was co-written by the country throwback with Adam Hood and Brent Cobb – aloud-and-proud dream-chaser’s anthem laced with full blown fiddle and steel.Produced by Trent Willmon and Paul Worley, pounding drums, relentless energy and Frey’s rough riding vocal swagger combine with a theme that celebrates standing out from the crowd, and doing what you do with both 100-percent conviction, and pure-country style.

“I am so excited to put this song out into the world,” Frey says of the track. “This song reminds me to keep pushing forward no matter the circumstances, own wherever I’m at, and look good doing it!”

“Miss Thang” will immediately hit Texas country radio upon release, as Frey continues to make waves in the Lonestar State and beyond. She was recently nominated for her fourth T3R (Texas Regional Radio Report) Female Vocalist of the Year award, marking her fifth T3R nomination overall. The awards ceremony is scheduled for March 24.

In the meantime, Frey will also hit the road with another country-to-the-core favorite, serving as direct support to Randall King on his Into The Neon Tour starting tonight (January 19). Complete tour information can be found below.

“Randall King’s shows are electric!” Frey notes. “To open for him, the energy is already there in the crowd because his fans know what to expect. I’m excited to feed off of that energy and hopefully amplify it each night on the Into The Neon Tour!”

Nominated five times at the annual T3R (Texas Regional Radio Report) Awards (4X Female Vocalist of the year, 1X Video of the Year for “Horses In Heaven”), 2023 found her making her Grand Ole Opry debut, becoming a semi-finalist on Season 18 of America’s Got Talent, and releasing her Hell of a Life EP.

Along with the multi-million streaming duet “Your Bar Now” (with Tyler Halverson), Frey has also appeared on multiple tracks by fellow trad-country stalwart, Cody Johnson after breaking out with her multi-million streaming hit, “One Night In Tulsa.” She looks to keep her momentum building in the months ahead, with new music and more nationwide touring.
