Brandi Carlile‘s epic voice can be heard in the new blockbuster Barbie movie, in theaters now. Her cover of the Indigo Girls’ “Closer to Fine” is heavily featured in the film, playing several times in different scenes as well as in the trailer.
The classic power ballad has been an anthem for sisterhood and feminine strength since it first rised to pop culture awareness in the Lilith Fair heyday, and is the perfect addition to the Barbie film score.
