“If you Want It That Much” is a standalone single, releasing in advance of the re-recording of the Cross Canadian Ragweed album “Soul Gravy” which is expected to come out late March/Early April, featuring special guest and country icon Lee Ann Womack.
The 2004 release of “Soul Gravy” peaked at #5 on the Billboard Top Country Albums, and featured the singles “Sick and Tired” (a collaboration with Lee Ann Womack) and “Alabama”, both of which charted on the Hot Country Songs charts. Here is a quote from Cody about the re-recording.
“I never was satisfied with the recording of ‘Soul Gravy.’ I thought the songs were all spot on and thought out lyrically. That was a busy year so we recorded fast. No amps. All pod. I didn’t like that idea and got out voted. This time I did it the way I wanted. I can finally own recordings of these songs again and have them on vinyl.” -Cody Canada
