Brad Paisley Made A Surprise Appearance On The “Virtual Opry” Stage. This past weekend Brad Paisley continued his highly successful Virtual Reality World Tour in Saratoga, NY and Camden, NJ. On Saturday, in Camden, Paisley surprised The Escape Plaza crowd with appearances on the “Virtual Opry” stage. Paisley, with guitar in hand, joined Kristen Kelly mid-way through Conway Twitty’s classic “Slow Hand” and continued to play as Kelly performed her current Top 40 hit “Ex-Old Man.” Next to perform on the “Virtual Opry” stage was Jana Kramer and Paisley came back out to the crowd’s delight. He joined Kramer on Sheryl Crow’s “All I Wanna Do” and Kramer’s party tune, “One of the Boys.” Recently it was announced Paisley would be taking his tour to Scandinavia for four shows in November and now he has added a show in Dublin, Ireland on November 13. Kip Moore Set To Release His New Single, “Beer Money.” Kip Moore is set to release his new single, “Beer Money,” July 9. This is the follow up to his very successful “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck,” which spent two weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart. He will be performing his hit tomorrow on NBC’s Today Show for their 4th of July episode. Moore had a hand in writing every song on Up All Night, including “Beer Money,” which he co-wrote with Blair Daly and Troy Verges. “Blair Daly said, ‘I’ve got this title ‘Beer Money,’ but I don’t know exactly what to do with it.’ We laughed and joked around about the idea. I know where I grew up in South Georgia, nobody had any money in high school. That is what the weekends were about: there was nowhere to go and there were no clubs, so it was all about who has the money to come up with the beer and where can we go.” -Moore. “It was the same thing in college: you are holding out spending money on food so that you’ve got enough money that weekend to go to the beer store and have a good time. Complete Details for Nashville’s Americana Music Festival and Conference! The 13th Annual Americana Music Festival & Conference is being held in Nashville from September 12-15, and the first batch of details has been announced! Icon Bonnie Raitt is slated to give the Keynote Interview and to also receive a lifetime honor at the weeks 11th Annual Americana Honors and Awards ceremony at the Ryman. Other lifetime honors recipients include both Booker T. Jones and Richard Thompson. In addition to the keynote speech and awards, there will also be a series of panels and workshops designed to educate, discuss, advance and inspire attendees. Of course it wouldn’t be a Nashville style shindig without some live music, and there is already a long listed of confirmed performances including Billy Joe Shaver, Punch Brothers, Brandi Carlile, Richard Thompson, Sara Watkins, The Deep Dark Woods, Shovels & Rope, John Hiatt, Eilen Jewell, Rodney Crowell, honeyhoney, and John Fullbright. Jake Owen And Lacey Buchanan Are Expecting A Child! Jake Owen and new wife Lacey are expecting their first child! Owen proposed to the 22-year-old, long-time girlfriend on stage in April and a month later they were married. They are quick to say this isn’t a shotgun wedding by any means! Owen told People magazine that he had already asked Lacey’s father for her hand when they found out she was pregnant. “The way we saw it, the baby news was a bonus on top of the engagement but we didn’t want anyone to think we were getting married because Lacey was pregnant, and we wanted to celebrate our wedding first.” -Owen to People Congrats to both of them and their families! Babies are a blessing and we wish Lacey a healthy and happy pregnancy!

Beloved Actor, Andy Griffith Passed Away Early This Morning. Andy Griffith passed away this morning at his home in North Carolina at the age of 86. The beloved actor entertained millions throughout his career, with two of his most memorable roles being the star in The Andy Griffith Show and Matlock. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and millions of fans as everyone deals with the loss of a true American entertainer! Chris Cagle Will Be Performing On The 4th Of July At The Rodeo Of The Ozarks! Chris Cagle will be performing on the 4th of July (Wednesday) in Springdale, Arkansas at the opening night of the 68th Annual Rodeo of the Ozarks. Gates open at 6pm and the performance will take place after the rodeo events. David Nail will be the evening entertainment on the 5th (Thursday) and Kix Brooks will take the stage on the 6th (Friday) with their performances after all rodeo events as well. Cagle released his 5th studio album on June 26, his first full length album in over 4 years.
