Y’all, Randy Rogers isn’t just resting on his legendary Texas-sized laurels. The frontman behind the Randy Rogers Band has officially stepped into a new role as cofounder of Dreamer Management, a brand-new artist management company based right in the heart of Austin, Texas. And if you know Randy’s track record for spotting real-deal talent, this move feels like a natural next step.
Rogers teamed up with music manager Elic Goicoechea, another Texas native who’s been hustling behind the scenes for years, to create a company focused entirely on growing Texas artists from Texas soil up. Their shared mission? To identify, nurture, and amplify the next generation of songwriters, pickers, and storytellers who carry that unmistakable Lone Star spirit.
A Management Company with Texas DNA
Dreamer Management isn’t chasing Nashville trends or TikTok fame. They’re building something rooted in authenticity and long-term growth. With a roster that already includes Ashton Naylor, Cameron Allbright, Hank Weaver, Parker Ryan, Slade Coulter, and Travis Roberts, this crew is putting their money (and sweat) where their mouth is.
According to BMI Austin’s Mitch Ballard, “Randy Rogers has long been a cornerstone of Texas music, not just through his own success on stage, but through his dedication to mentoring and uplifting the next generation of artists.”
And he’s not wrong. Randy’s fingerprints are all over the success stories of artists like Parker McCollum, William Beckmann, and Red Shahan, proving he’s got an uncanny knack for knowing who’s about to blow up next.
The Brains Behind the Brand
At the core of Dreamer Management are Randy Rogers (COO/A&R) and Elic Goicoechea (CEO/President), backed by their in-house booking agent Hunter Conway. Together, they’re creating a structure that supports artists with booking, branding, and real industry mentorship, all without forcing them to pack up and move to Music Row.
Elic’s story is pretty damn inspiring too. A Texas State University grad who cut his teeth in the local scene at Cheatham Street Warehouse, he built his first company, Ascend Music Group, from scratch before teaming up with Rogers. The guy’s been doing everything from managing tours to shooting promo videos himself. That’s the kind of hands-on hustle that keeps Texas country alive and kicking.
Randy Rogers: Still Leading by Example
If anyone’s earned the right to build the next big Texas music incubator, it’s Randy Rogers. His band has been holding it down for over two decades, setting the standard for independent success with records like Rollercoaster and their recent EP The Going.
That re-mastered anniversary edition of Rollercoaster reminded everyone why the album still hits like a freight train, while The Going featuring Parker McCollum proved Randy’s still got plenty of fuel left in the tank. Now, with Dreamer Management, he’s turning that same passion into a platform for others.
As Brendon Anthony of Big Loud Texas put it, “The launch of Dreamer Management increases the possibility for more Texas artists to break on the national scene.” And honestly? We couldn’t agree more.
Why This Matters
In a world where the country music industry keeps trying to fit Texas artists into Nashville boxes, Dreamer Management is choosing to keep things homegrown. They’re not waiting for national validation, they’re building their own infrastructure for success right here where the sound was born.
If you love the Texas music scene as much as I do, keep your eyes on this roster. Because when Randy Rogers starts betting on the future, you can pretty much count on him picking winners.
