<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Though he went home empty-handed, <a href="https://countrymusicontour.com/shaboozey-announces-fall-2024-tour/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Shaboozey</a> had a heckuva night at the 2025 Grammy Awards on Sunday (Feb. 2), where he performed a medley of his hits alongside the other best new artist nominees.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">When ;<em>Billboard</em> ;caught up with the “Good News” singer backstage after the ceremony — where he was up for five awards — and asked him what his plans were for following up his ;<a href="https://www.billboard.com/pro/hot-100-songs-longest-leading-no-1s/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">19-week Hot 100 No. 1</a> ;smash “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” Shaboozey said one of the items on his to-do list is a team-up with another country chart superstar.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">“Stuff’s comin’, man, stuff’s comin’,” Shaboozey said about a potential collaboration with pal <a href="https://countrymusicontour.com/morgan-wallen-hits-the-road-for-2025-stadium-tour-with-brooks-dunn-miranda-lambert-more/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Morgan Wallen</a>. “He shot me a text the other day and it’s just good that he’s doing good, taking care of himself, putting out some new music that I feel the world is excited about… and ready for.”</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As for his next iteration, Shaboozey said he can’t wait for fans to hear what the follow-up to his breakthrough 2024 album ;<em>Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going</em>. “I’m so excited about it [my upcoming music]. I feel like I’m now coming into my own,” he said. “This [Grammy Awards] is just an extra treat on top of everything I’ve done so far in my career. I can’t wait to keep it going.”</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Shaboozey also said that being nominated in the “big four” Grammy categories — including song of the year and best new artist — was “amazing. Honestly, to be in the big four after just one year of really figuring out the type of music I wanted to make, the sound I wanted to get, the type of songs I wanted to write?” he said. “It’s amazing and honestly I hope that I keep coming and this isn’t just the only year I get to do this.”</p>
