Country Artist/Songwriter Matt Jordan releases the Official Music Video for his new single “Your Town,” a continuation of his fan-favorite single “Cold in California”

The video premiered on Taste of Country yesterday and will be available on CMT.com on 7/22.

The single was written by Matt Jordan and Jarret Hartness, produced by Grammy-Award nominated producer, Sal Oliveri, and the music video was shot and produced by Frankie Zarantonello of Butter Creations.

Matt Jordan grew up in Eureka, MO, a small town just outside of St. Louis, where they decided to film the music video to give it an authentic feeling.  

“I think ‘Your Town’ is a song a lot of people can relate to — the idea of a lingering, lost love that has moved away while you’re still in the same place,” said Matt Jordan. “Jarrett Hartness (co-writer) and I really wanted it to feel like a conversation between the characters to try and make it more personal and more nostalgic.” 

In the story-behind-the song, Jordan explains the idea behind the single that showcases the rising star’s gritty vocals and country/rock influences, drawing comparisons to the likes of artists such as Bruce Springsteen and Eric Church while showcasing his artistry as a songwriter.  

This is Jordan’s follow up to his popular singles “Boulder,” “The Good Fight” and “Heart of the Heartland” as well as his debut EP Middle of Everything (October 2021), all produced by Grammy-Award nominated producer, Sal Oliveri (P!nk, Chris Stapleton, Sheryl Crow).  Matt Jordan is currently working on new music that will be released throughout 2022.  

“Your Town” is available now on Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music and anywhere you stream music. The Lyric Video for “Your Town,” which follows Jordan driving through the streets of his hometown, is also available on his YouTube Channel.
