“Corn Star” Is Craig Morgan’s Latest Single. Craig Morgan is very excited to release his second single from This Ole Boy. “Corn Star,” written by Shane Minor and Jeffrey Steele, is a rockin’ up-tempo smash that is sure to become a summer anthem. The tongue-in-cheek tune colorfully describes the town’s hottest catch “…with a bag of seed on her suntan shoulder, cut off jeans and a tight tank top with a big red mower on it…She’s a CORN STAR.” Fans are all ears for the song, as it has quickly become a live show favorite. “Corn Star” is the follow up to Morgan’s Top 15 hit and title track “This Ole Boy.” The New York Times describes the song as one that ‘prizes a certain kind of woman, not the kind you’d meet at the corner of Hollywood and Vine,‘ while 4 A Song shares it’s about a ‘True country girl who hauls her own seed, drives her own tractor and takes the ribbons at the county fair.‘ News of the latest single comes on the heels of announcing the season 3 premier of Craig Morgan’s award-winning TV show, “Craig Morgan: All Access Outdoors.” Starting July 1, viewers can catch Morgan every Sunday night at 11pm (EST) on the Outdoor Channel. It is a fun song that has got fans going crazy with excitement! The meaning comes from, of all places, a police code. Bentley has said many times the code was used by officers in some areas as the code for a person who is “out of control.” No matter the meaning of the title, the video looks like one big party! Luke Bryan At The Amp

Luke Bryan Tailgates And Tanlines Tour Comes To The AMP! Luke Bryan headlined at the Arkansas Music Pavilion this past Friday, June 1. The show was full of energy with well over 5,000 fans in attendance. The day almost had a turn for the worse when rainfall and a slight temperature decrease fell across Fayetteville, leaving me wondering how ticket holders would feel about the outside event. Luckily the rain cleared out and the temp. was very enjoyable, especially considering it was the first day of June. The show went off without a hitch! Bryan performed all of his hits, both present and past. He did Razorback Country proud when he switched all of the “Georgia’s” in song lyrics to “Arkansas’,” but still stayed true to his roots by sporting a Georgia Bulldog jersey at the end of the night. “Drunk On You,” “I Don’t Want This Night To End,” “Do I,” “All My Friends Say,” “We Rode In Trucks,” “Drinkin’ Beer and Wastin’ Bullets” along with others had fans on their feet the whole night. But, a few surprise songs had them going crazy… Bryan’s versions of Adele’s “Someone Like You,” Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend,” Lionel Richie’s “Easy,” Journey’s “Faithfully” and Hank Williams Jr.’s “A Country Boy Can Survive” caused quite a stir throughout the venue. Although he didn’t play any of the covers in full length he proved that he is a very talented man, both vocally and on the piano. Bryan finished the show with his mega-hit “Country Girl (Shake It For Me).” He of course showed Northwest Arkansas his moves, but then decided to share the spotlight. He brought up a 16-year-old Adam on stage that he had spotted “shaking it” in the crowd below. It was priceless and I’m sure made the teenager’s summer! I strongly suggest you catch a Luke Bryan show in the near future, the Tailgates and Tanlines Tour won’t disappoint! For those of you who are around the NWA area, get tickets to any show that comes to The AMP! It’s a venue that goes above and beyond to guarantee fans a great experience! Dierks Bentley’s Father Passes

Dierks Bentley’s Father Passed Away On June 1. Sadly, Dierks Bentley’s father passed away on Friday, June 1. Our condolences and prayers are with all of Mr. Bentley’s family and friends as they grieve during this difficult time. Dierks’ show that was originally scheduled for this Wednesday, will be postponed and tickets will be refunded if necessary. Here is a picture that Dierks tweeted this past weekend and said, “my dad died yesterday. it was an honor to comfort him as he left us. thank you fans for the time and understanding.”
