Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood announce a special Nashville Concert. Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood announced last week that they will be performing a special concert in Nashville December 17th at the Bridgestone Arena to benefit flood recovery efforts. “Nashville’s not only up and running, it’s better than it’s ever been.” – Garth Brooks Tickets will start at just $25. Every penny of the proceeds will go to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, which will in turn share funds with the victims of the May floods that devastated the Nashville community. The talent lineup for the 2nd annual Bayou Country Superfest was announced today with a Louisiana homecoming for Tim McGraw and Trace Adkins, plus Kenny Chesney, Sugarland, Zac Brown Band, Billy Currington, Luke Bryan, Jason Michael Carroll, Josh Thompson and Lee Brice. Scheduled over Memorial Day Weekend 2011 (Saturday, May 28 & Sunday, May 29), Bayou Country Superfest brings together the biggest names in country music on the campus of Louisiana State University for the huge two-day celebration.

Billy Ray Cyrus and wife Tish have filed for divorce. According to People magazine, Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife of 17 years have filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. “As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family,” the couple said in a statement. “We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.” While the end of such a long marriage is a sad affair, we certainly hope them both the best.

The interview itself is very entertaining, however I’m wondering if anyone else thought David sounded condescending to her about her age, her touring experience, and even her perfume!
