Blake Shelton Hosts “Healing In The Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert”.

Blake Shelton has organized and will headline and host a major telethon, “Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert,” this Wednesday (May 29). The concert/telethon/benefit proceeds will be going towards The United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornado Relief Fund.

The benefit will be held at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City at 7:30 pm tomorrow. Tickets for the benefit went on sale Saturday, but will also be televised live on NBC. Other cable networks including Style, G4, Bravo, E! and CMT will air the show on either a live or delayed basis.

“Everyone has their way to help, and mine as an entertainer is to perform to help raise money and awareness for this tragedy,” Shelton said. “This is why I want to do this special and especially hod it in Oklahoma City, which is near ground zero.”

Shelton will be performing along with Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill and more.
