Oklahoma entertainer Carrie Underwood is honored with a Golden Globe nomination!
Carrie Underwood seems just tickled pink by her nomination for a Golden Globe award. The nomination celebrates Carries song contribution of the original piece “There’s a Place For Us” used in the movie “Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader”.
“I am absolutely thrilled by this wonderful honor today,” says Underwood. “It was such an exciting endeavor to have been asked to create music for the film. I grew up with the books and have been a fan of the earlier two movies. I can’t wait for the Golden Globes!”
