New Music From Ned LeDoux – Dance With your Spurs On

Ned LeDoux has stayed busy performing numerous live stream concerts and promoting music from his Next In Line album during the COVID-19 lockdown. His upbeat “Dance With Your Spurs On” single was made available two weeks ago, and today the lyric video for the song was released. Ned co-wrote the song with Corb Lund, who joins him on the vocal track and in the video. The clip can be viewed HERE.

Dixie Chicks Drop ‘Dixie’ From Their Name – Release “March March”

THE DIXIE CHICKS are now officially “THE CHICKS” after changing their name across all of their social media pages and web site this morning (6/25). The band’s publicist confirmed the name change to ALL ACCESS. The band has not commented on the change other than adding the message “We want to meet this moment” under the new name on their web site.

Brandi Carlile, The Highwomen, Brittany Howard, Tanya Tucker Top Americans Honors & Awards Nominations

In a strong showing for female artists, THE HIGHWOMEN, TANYA TUCKER and BRITTANY HOWARD top the nominations for the 19th annual AMERICANA HONORS & AWARDS with nods in three categories apiece, while THE HIGHWOMEN’s BRANDI CARLILE earned an additional nomination as a solo artist, in addition to recognition as a producer and songwriter in several categories. JOHN PRINE, who passed away from COVID-19 earlier this year, earned a posthumous nomination in the Artist Of The Year category.
