Oklahoma City man Chris “Julio” Allred is pulling out all the stops to bring a foot-stompin’ good time back to Red Dirt country! The Rockin’ Red Dirt Revival is a 14 week series starting Feb 26, then every other Saturday night til May 21 at various venues spanning OKC to Fayetteville, AR. Concerts will take the best Rock and Red Dirt bands from TX/OK, and pair them with the crazy popular Jamgrass bands in the region. Plus, add in an acoustic singer/songwriter on a side stage playing during band changeovers. Red Dirt Revival Dates and Line-ups Feb 26. There will also be a coordinating Songwriter class/workshop at the Fayetteville Public Library on late afternoons the day before each show. At least 1 artist that we’ve booked in will conduct a freebie workshop on song writing, teaching writing methods, inspiration harnessing, music and lyric development, and sharing their experiences in writing their own material and their lives in the music industry. Impromptu concerts are expected to break out at any time. There will also be a “Well Drinks for Mental Wellness” campaign going on throughout the concert series, so keep your ears open for all the different bars and restaurants participating in this innovative awareness campaign for mental health issues.
