COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME member RANDY TRAVIS is shining a spotlight on new music he believes in with his “Diggin’ Up Songs” digital campaign. The music is curated by TRAVIS personally and can be found via SPOTIFY, TWITTER, FACEBOOK, and TRAVIS’s website. New songs will be added every two weeks; the first round of spotlight tracks was revealed today and includes KANE BROWN’s “Heaven,” BRETT ELDREDGE’s “The Long Way,” WALKER HAYES’s “You Broke Up With Me,” LUKE COMBS’s “One Number Away,” and LAUREN ALAINA’s “Doin’ Fine.” “Though RANDY may not be able to perform right now, his love and affinity for music stands strong,” said TRAVIS’s wife, MARY DAVIS-TRAVIS. “We like to say he is ‘singing a new song’ and spending his time giving back to the community and supporting fellow artists — streaming is a great new outlet to do just that.”

Please join us on Friday, December 1 at Madame Tussauds Nashville in Opry Mills Mall as we unveil Randy Travis‘ wax figure. Media check-in will be at 10:30am at Entry 5. This event is open to the public! Randy’s wax figure will be added to a collection of over 50 figures at the Nashville attraction, which features artists from all genres of music including country, rock, jazz, blues and pop. Each Madame Tussauds figure is truly a work of art, involving teams of professional artists and sculptors who spend months on extensive research and take more than 300 measurements to recreate world-famous icons to achieve the kind of astonishing realism that has been at the heart of the 250-year Madam Tussauds legacy. The immersive experience in the attraction takes guests through different scenes and eras in America’s musical history.

Randy Travis Puts The Bottle Down For Good. According to TMZ, Randy Travis has quit drinking for good. His lawyer says Travis has “eliminated alcohol from his daily life.” Travis has been trying a healthier lifestyle by working out, taking daily vitamins and of course, putting down the bottle. Travis hit the studio last week in Texas and that has us all giddy that a new album is in the works! We wish the best for Travis and send him only good thoughts! Randy Travis and Cracker Barrel Team Up to Support U.S. Troops. Randy Travis has teamed up with Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores and GAC to release a collection of his hits in addition to 3 brand new songs on a 12 track album.
