Rodney Atkins He’s Mine Video

The Official Music Video For Rodney Atkins’ “He’s Mine.” Rodney Atkins’ latest single, “He’s Mine” has been a hit with the fathers and sons of the country music world. The song can be found on his fourth studio album, Take A Back Road and is the follow up to “Take A Back Road.” First I want to say that I am a fan of the song. It’s one of those that you find yourself singing along to in the car and then have it stuck in your head for a few hours. But…I have to say one thing about it that i find odd. Although I’m glad that this is a song about having pride in your son, I find it weird that there isn’t a line somewhere that says “Yeah he’s mine and I’m gonna’ take him to the back and whip him.” It’s not that I condone child abuse or anything like that, but come on…the kid was caught “shootin’ beer bottles” AND “smokin’.” Plus the kid was disrespectful by not even speaking to the old man…I’m just saying. Either way I do like the song and the video is great too! Watch it here now! He’s Mine – Rodney Atkins – Rodney Atkins Videos

Thomas Rhett Something To Do With My Hands Video

Thomas Rhett’s Official Music Video For “Something To Do With My Hands!” Thomas Rhett’s “Something To Do With My Hands” is quite the catchy tune if I say so myself. It’s upbeat and he has a pretty distinctive voice that adds that certain bit of charm that draws people in. At first glance one might think he was a younger Eric Church (with his dark hair and hat), but no, he is an up-and-comer ready to prove himself! Following in his father’s (Rhett Akins) songwriting footsteps, he had a song on Jason Aldean’s album My Kinda Party, “I Ain’t Ready To Quit.” The video is one of the cutest things I’ve seen in a while. Trying to impress a group of girls, he seems to fall flat until he pulls out his golden ticket, his ability to perform! I suggest you watch the video now!

Kelly Clarkson Song Turned Country

Kelly Clarkson’s Pop Hit “Mr. Know It All” Now Has A Country Version. Kelly Clarkson is a pop singer with a powerhouse for a voice. Although she is not part of the country genre when it comes to her music, she has a lot of ties to the big family. She is from Texas, enjoys country music, has many friends who are currently staples in the country music scene, (Reba, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert to name a few) and blew people away with her duet “Don’t You Wanna Stay” with Jason Aldean. Recently her pop hit “Mr. Know It All” was tweaked and changed to be played on country stations. The question is should it have been done? Some might argue that the lyrics fit right in with the things they hear on their local radio stations now, the only thing keeping it from being country is the music. Well…isn’t that a big part? Anybody could add some pedal steel to many songs and would make it more “country.” This is a big topic of debate these days, what is country? Below are two videos…one that is the audio to the country version of “Mr. Know It All” and the other is the official music video for the original version (pop version) of “Mr. Know It All.” Tell us what you think! Which version do you like better? Do you think she should do more country versions?

Lady Antebellum Perfect Day Video

The Official Music Video For Lady Antebellum’s “Perfect Day.” The video for Lady Antebellum’s “Perfect Day” is a behind the scenes look at the band over the last year. From photo shoots, to TV appearances, awards shows, life on the road, music video sets, backstage at a show to being on the stage, they show us everything! I really like when videos have a story line and acting (like a mini-movie!), but I also really like when we get a candid look at the artists. They invite the whole world in and show us things that we normally wouldn’t see. I give this video an A and the song an A+! Watch the video now! Maybe it will inspire you to have a perfect day! Skyler This Dream (Nashville) Video

New Kid On The Block, Skyler, Releases Video for This Dream (Nashville). There’s a fresh faced new kid on the block, and his name is Skyler. Die-hard country fans take-note, this is not a traditional country music artist. Instead, Skyler is a little bit of a hybrid mixing in country influences with rock and pop sounds. So, this is definitely going to be for our more adventurous music fans (nothing wrong with liking your country music traditional though!). There’s a lot of fun and a lot of potential here, so check out the video below and see what you think! Like what you hear, find more here. Lee Ann Womak Showcases New Music

Lee Ann Womak Reveals New Music to Fans! Rumor has it that Lee Ann Womak is getting ready to release some new music! She has been working in the studio with her husband, Frank Liddel, who is also her producer (convenient, right?). “It’s funny. Frank and I just never seemed to really get around to working together, beyond those few tracks on I Hope You Dance.
