Josh Turner released his live album titled, Live Across America, exclusively through Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, and the record debuted at number nine on Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart! I personally believe that the mark of a solid musician rests on the quality of their live performance. So, its always fun when artists release a live album! Scotty McCreery fans will have extra reason to rejoice over the holidays this year, since their favorite crooner will be releasing his first Christmas Album on October 16th! There are a lot of Christmas tunes out there, but McCreery chose to include those that played a special role in his own life. “Christmas has always been my favorite time of the year. And what is Christmas without music? We start listening to Christmas songs early in the McCreery household, so it felt right…“It’s a special thing for me. As a family, we were all really excited about making a Christmas album. The video was shot at a concert and it looks like one huge party. There seem to be no men in the audience, which is quite all right with Keith because the song mentions nothing of the male gender! Eric Church Set To Release His First Ever Live Album In 2013. Eric Church’s fall leg of his arena headlining tour, The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour, kicks off Sept. 13. Along with that excitement, Church has revealed his plans for an early 2013 live album release. For his first-ever live album, Church will record back-to-back shows in Chattanooga, Tenn. at Tivoli Theatre on Oct. 8-9, 2012. In honor of the forthcoming release, Church wants to know what about his music first ‘captured’ his fans’ attention and is hosting the “Captured” video contest, encouraging everyone to show him visually how his music has impacted them and why. Always a believer in creating music that resonates with his listeners, he wants to hear his fans’ real stories. The Official Music Video For Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” So the official music video for Taylor Swift‘s current single, and first release from her new album, Red, is here. “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” definitely has more of a pop sound than country, obviously. But, the music video for this just makes me say…huh? The band is dressed up as different animals, there are a few random dance scenes and Swift looks like she might have still been angry when this was shot (a lot of intense rolling of the eyes). However, the message of the song has already struck a chord with many. Especially seeing how Swift set a record for highest digital sales in a week for a song by a woman!
