Dwight Yoakam Releases New Album, 3 Pears. Dwight Yoakam is set to release a brand new album this Fall titled 3 Pears. This marks Dwight’s first studio release in seven years, and it will include twelve tracks (see the complete track listing below). Little Big Town Is Set To Release Their Fifth Studio Album. Little Big Town is set to release their fifth studio album, Tornado, on September 11, 2012. The album was recorded in Nashville and was produced by Jay Joyce (Eric Church). “I am so excited for people to hear this new record. We worked with Jay Joyce and he really pushed us to be in the moment. Jason Aldean Has Released His First Single From His Upcoming Album. Jason Aldean has released his latest single, “Take A Little Ride.” The brand new song is the follow up to his successful “Fly Over States,” and will be on his upcoming 5th studio album due out this fall. “Everyone has been asking if the new album is going to be different from the My Kinda Party album. I tried to find the best songs that I could and also ones that fit what I do in my live show. There’s a little bit of everything, including some more traditional country stuff and some songs that might raise a few eyebrows. I thought this would be a great lead single to come with after “Fly Over States”…it’s about grabbing your girl and getting lost in the country. Sounds like a pretty good Friday night to me.” -Aldean I love to hear brand new music from an artist, so I can’t wait to get my hands on this next album that Aldean has in the works! Miranda Lambert’s New Video for “Fastest Girl In Town” Features Race Car Driver, Danica Patrick! Miranda Lambert is hard at work on the upcoming video for her single, “Fastest Girl In Town” from her latest release Four The Record. As the song title suggests, its the story of a young woman that likes to live on the wilder side of things, and Lambert found the perfect star for her video…NASCAR driver Danica Patrick, who according to GAC Miranda thought really was the best fit! “Danica was the person I thought of immediately when I envisioned the video. We had so much fun playing two bad ass chicks up to no good. Danica has a really busy schedule, and I’m thrilled she was able to take time to come to Tennessee and be a part of this.”-Miranda Lambert Lambert will also be showcasing her acting skills in the video she calls a “mini-movie”. I guess she really did catch the acting bug after her stint on Law & Order: SVU! The video also stars actor W. Earl Brown and is directed by Trey Fanjoy. I love it when artists get so invested in their videos like this! Like Lambert, I always like to think of them as little mini-movies, trying to see what the meaning is or the back story. It looks as if this one, complete with action sequences and all is gonna be pretty entertaining. So, buckle your seat belts country music fans…I think this is gonna be a good video!

Bucky Covington And Shooter Jennings Raised A Little Cain While Filming The Music Video For Their Duet, “Drinking Side of Country.” Bucky Covington had a great time last week while filming the music video for his new duet with Shooter Jennings. The “Drinking Side of Country” video will premiere in the coming weeks and will be on Bucky’s sophomore album, Good Guys. The video is full of action with Bucky and Shooter getting into all kinds of trouble, including a high-speed chase through the tiny town of Greensburg, KY. The video also features country singer Kellie Pickler, 5-time WWE Champion and current TNA Impact Knockout wrestler Mickie James and professional freestyle motocrosser Cowboy Kenny Bartram. “Drinking Side of Country” was written by Bucky, his twin brother Rocky and Ducky Medlock.
