It’s pretty amazing that we’re both alive and kicking and still going strong. Ain’t it good to be alive and be in Tennessee!” said Charlie Daniels. A portion of the proceeds from the night will go to the The Journey Home Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit co-founded by Daniels and manager, David Corlew, to help Veterans of the United States Armed Forces. Jack Ingram’s Whiskey-Soaked Masterpiece, Midnight Motel, Out Tomorrow on Rounder Records

Hear Full Preview Stream of Midnight Motel on The Boot! Today, Texas icon and country star Jack Ingram, premiered his new album, Midnight Motel, in full via a preview stream on The Boot.com (http://theboot.com/jack-ingram-midnight-mote l-album-listen/). Midnight Motel (Rounder Records) is Ingram’s first album in the seven years since his departure from Big Machine Records. Produced by Jon Randall and featuring his recently released single “I’m Drinking Through It,” (Video here) which chronicles a troubled but loving relationship, the album will be available through retailers and streaming services tomorrow, Aug. 26. “Disappearing” from recording after earning #1 hits and an ACM win for Best New Male Vocalist in 2008, Midnight Motel represents the insightful perspective that only comes with taking a step back. Emerging now o n Rounder Records, he’s made a handshake deal with himself – “Don’t write a song/That you wouldn’t sing.” The result is a Texas-tinged “guided meditation” through liquor-fueled melancholy, astute observations, and amusing expositions. It’s a night at the bar with Jack – songs, shots, spoken riffs and all. As a giant in Texas Country, writers who’ve followed Jack for years are saluting this album as his best yet. “Even on a first listen, it’s easy to hear how much of the seven years between records Ingram has spent laboring on these songs, working over each tightly wound line for maximum impact. This sounds like a record made by someone freed of the pressure to create hits and driven to write a set of songs he wouldn’t be embarrassed to play for Guy Clar k.” – Andy Langer, Texas Monthly “One of the highlights of the new album is the wistful “It’s Always Gonna Rain,” which he co-wrote with red-hot tunesmith Lori McKenna.” – Chuck Dauphin, Billboard.com “These 11 cuts cut deep; the songs swim in your head long after you’ve pressed stop on your music player. Ingram’s well-chosen wor ds, combined with lush instrumentation, show a songwriter at the top of his game…” – David McPherson, No Depression “Ingram’s is a singular voice, an artist adept at sharing the broader insights that reflect on the minutiae of everyday experience.”; “These rough-hewn arrangements and his sturdy, though solitary, expression are so consistently compelling.”; “In a very real sense then, this is Ingram’s most authentic effort to date, and not surprisingly, it’s also his best.” – Lee Zimmerman, Elmore Magazine Link to album stream premiere: http://theboot.com/jack-ingram-midnight-motel-album-listen/ Link for Ingram’s new single, “I’m Drinking Through It”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6DR TLOFanI “I’m Drinking Through It” Video Jack Ingram Socials: Website: http://jackingram.net/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/JackIngram   Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jackingram/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jackingram/ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCy8KtwvxP5wZ5zix7AujPvQ

The Warhorses Release “Leaving In Her Eyes” To Texas Radio!

(Austin, Texas) — The Warhorses is pleased to announce the release of “Leaving In Your Eyes,” the first Texas Country radio single from their forthcoming self-titled album, is available on CD Tex and will officially be “going for adds” on August 29, 2016. “Leaving In Your Eyes,” which was produced by Dave Percefull of yellow DOG Studios in Wimberley, Texas, is being promoted by Debbie Green Promotions. Kicking off with a hooky guitar lick,“Leaving In Your Eyes” features a singable melody and a driving beat. The lead single on The Warhorses, the song is also the starter song for their live performances, setting the pace for the energetic show that follows. “This is one of the first songs I ever wrote for this band,” said Casey Shaw (lead vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, harmonica, songwriter). “Simply put, it’s about a girl who can’t make up her mind.  She keeps you hanging on, but you know she’s event ually going back to him. It’s kind of an ambiguous song that leaves it up the listener to decide the rest of the story.”   Shaw (vocals, guitar, mandolin, harmonica, songwriter), a US Army and Iraq War veteran, founded the band in 2012. Reconnecting with Sonny Bihl (guitar) and Seth “Tobo” Tobin (bass, songwriter), after several years of each suffering through broken bands, “missed connections” and other social media escapades, the line-up was completed with the addition of Phil Medina (drums) and Lucas Seiferman (lead guitar and harmony vocals). Releasing their first EP, REGARDLESS, in 2014, The Warhorses made their way onto Texas radio with the Top 50 single, “Leave Me Alone,” and a Top 75 with “Heart Like Mine.” With influences that range from the classic styles of Robert Earl Keen, Guy Clark, and Townes Van Zandt to the honky-tonk edginess of Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, and Dwight Yoakam, it becomes clear that they also look to the dynamics of Reckless Kelly and Micky and The Motorcars for inspiration. With a focus on having a big sound and good guitar tones, the drums drive the band as Shaw’s southern vocal draws you into the very personal stories he has written about life, and mostly, love.  THE WARHORSES is scheduled for an October 7, 2016 release through indieExtreme and Ingrooves Music Group. The single is available to purchase now on iTunes and other digital retailers. For more information on The Warhorses, view their website at thewarhorsesmusic.com/ and follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

Kenny Chesney Rocks 56,292 at NJ’s MetLife Stadium; Hits Region’s Top 10 Headliners

56,292 for Show That Puts Him in Top 10 N.J. Stadium Draws Ever Holmdel, N.J. (Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016) –  “Oh, there you are,” said Kenny Chesney, standing onstage at MetLife Stadium, pointing into the far part of the crowd. “There you are.” Pausing for a moment, he took the 56,292 fans in, before announcing, “This is the most beautiful sight! Music and songs are the most powerful things we have in our lives… Just look around.” With a few more words, he invited the full-capacity crowd to sing along – something they’d been doing all night anyway – then launched into 2004’s “I Go Back.” The crowd’s response was deafening as they sang along to the song-invoking smash about the way music watermarks people’s lives. For Chesney, approaching the end of 2016’s Spread the Love Tour – complete with 14 major stadiums, it marks his love affair with the No Shoes Nation. With two hours of hits – from the truly vintage “Don’t Happen Twice” and “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy” to the six-week No. 1s “When The Sun Goes Down” and “Summertime” to the brand new “Noise” – it was a truly loud love fest in Jersey that saw the crowd sing along to every song, almost louder than the headliner. “That audience felt so honest, raw – and almost right there with us onstage,” Chesney marveled. “It was like walking into a buzz saw – in a really good way – they just cut right through us.” New York metro’s passion for the songwriter/superstar rivals Boston’s in the way they turn out, sing out and throw their hands into the air in a way that truly drives the band. After last night’s show – his fifth at MetLife Stadium – took his accumulated attendance to 279,874 making him the only country act in the Top 10 Performers in the MetLife/Giants stadium’s history, starting five decades ago. That ranking places him in the company of Springsteen, the Grateful Dead, Bon Jovi, U2, the Rolling Stones, Dave Matthews Band, Billy Joel and Elton John. “You don’t think about stuff like that when you’re up there,” Chesney said. “You’re drinking it in, letting it wash over you. They were so loud, so there. Like I told them during the show – ‘It’s why this place is so special… why we keep coming back… year after year. Because I’ll be sitting at Thanksgiving dinner, and I’ll still hear the love in this stadium.’ That’s true…” Chanting “KennyKenny! KennyKenny!” after the 8-time Entertainer of the Year left the stage, the crowd was rewarded with a grinding drum solo from Sean Paddock that saw guitarists Kenny Greenberg and Clayton Mitchell twist the melody line of “Don’t Happen Twice” around. Walking on stage to another seismic eruption of cheers, Chesney lifted his tumbler to the crowd before delivering an embrace-the-moment rendition of his 2001 chart-topper. With “Setting The World On Fire,” his duet with P!NK, blazing up the Country Radio and Sales charts, Chesney’s Continue reading Kenny Chesney Rocks 56,292 at NJ’s MetLife Stadium; Hits Region’s Top 10 Headliners
