HaleighT Caught Up With Steel Magnolia Before They Hit The Stage In Arkansas! Last night Steel Magnolia graced the stage as part of the Washington County Fair in Fayetteville, Ar! Meghan and Josh’s performance really impressed me…with his enthusiasm and energy on stage and her undeniably gifted voice, how could they not?! I was particularly impressed by “Edge Of Goodbye,” their cover of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill‘s “I Need You” and of course “Keep On Lovin’ You.” They gave us a taste of some of the new stuff they are working on in “You’re On My Mind” and “Whiskey Anthem,” then ended the show with “Jackson!” Before the show I had a chance to talk with them about their recent projects, including a new album and cancer benefit they are working with. HaleighT Interviews Adam Hood at the Arkansas Music Pavilion in Fayetteville, AR! Yesterday (Friday, August 17th), the Arkansas Music Pavilion in Fayetteville, AR debuted their 1st Annual Taste of Country Music Festival. The line-up included several amazing singers and songwriters including Chris Knight, Amanda Cramer, Randy Houser, and the one and only, Miranda Lambert! Also, in this amazing line-up, we had the talented and charming, Adam Hood! Hood is an Alabama native who has been hard at work writing, performing, releasing albums and touring! Luckily, we caught up with him, and he filled us in on how he felt about being a part of the first ever Taste of Country fest at The AMP, what he’s working on now, and what’s up next for him! The Official Music Video For Colt Ford’s “Back,” Featuring Jake Owen. The official music video for Colt Ford’s “Back” is here. The song features Jake Owen and is the lead single from Ford’s upcoming album, Declaration of Independence, which is due in stores August 7. “Back” was filmed in Ford’s hometown of Athens, GA and was directed by Team Genius Films’ Potsy Ponciroli. The video was produced by Shannon Houchins and is literal to the lyrics, complete with Ford’s family making their video debut. “The song is so close to my heart. It’s my life and wanted to keep it real by having my whole family in the video. I am proud of the song and the visual we created. We went ‘back’ home and captured images from my mom’s house, the baseball field and roller rink I wrote about in the song. It’s a true representation of what this song is about and the visual portrays the sentiment perfectly.” -Ford “Back,” which was co-written by Ford, Shannon Houchins and Noah Gordan, was recently released to country radio and has sold over 30,000 digital downloads in less than three weeks. Here Is The Official Music Video For Zac Brown Band’s “The Wind.” The Zac Brown Band has released their official music video for “The Wind.” Much to my surprise, the video is an animated one! I cracked up laughing the first time I saw it and had to re-watch it immediately. These guys are known for doing their own thing and they definitely put themselves apart from any other video out today! I don’t want to spoil it for anyone so I’m not giving any more details!
