Caylee Hammack and Trisha Yearwood have released “Coldest Shoulder,” a new collaboration pairing two Georgia voices on a sharp-hearted country breakup song. The track arrived October 16, alongside a music video offering a behind-the-scenes look at their time in the studio.

Hammack wrote the song with Bandana Cheyenna and produced it with Kurt Ozan. The release introduces her next project, with a story built around a relationship that has lost its warmth.
A collaboration years of inspiration helped shape
“This song felt like the classic Country flagship to send off as the first release from my next project,” shares Hammack. “The child in me is soaring. To sing with someone who has inspired me so much is a dream come true. We’re talking Trisha freakin’ Yearwood, y’all. She has been a great friend to me and it’s surreal to finally record something with her.”
For fans who enjoy hearing generations of country singers meet in the same song, the appeal is straightforward: Hammack gets to record with an artist who helped inspire her, while the studio footage lets listeners see that connection at work.
New music after Bed of Roses
“Coldest Shoulder” follows “Must Be Nice,” which drew attention on social media before its official release. Hammack has also recently wrapped her headlining Bed of Roses Acoustic Tour and support dates on Brooks & Dunn’s Neon Moon Tour 2026.
