Reps for Country superstar GARTH BROOKS confirmed TODAY (4/5) earlier reports that he will be opening a bar in NASHVILLE’s Lower Broadway district at 411 Broadway (NET NEWS 3/15). He purchased the three-story, more that 40,000-sqare-foot building in DECEMBER 2021, and has engaged NASHVILLE-based SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY to help execute the entertainment concept.
“We feel very lucky to have the chance to be part of Lower Broad, which is arguably THE hottest spot in the country,” said BROOKS. “The goal is a classic honky-tonk that welcomes all and encourages love and kindness while playing the greatest music in the world in the home of Country music!”
“GARTH’s long-standing commitment to NASHVILLE is far beyond music and has been so meaningful to our city,” said SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY owners BENJAMIN and MAX GOLDBERG in a joint statement. “We couldn’t be more excited than to help him bring his concept to reality.”
Further details on the project and its opening date will be announced later.
The “Friends In Low Places” singer has spoken publicly on several occasions in the past about the possibility of operating a branded venue downtown, as so many other Country stars already do. He now joins a group of singer/bar owners that also includes LUKE BRYAN, MIRANDA LAMBERT, BLAKE SHELTON, FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE, DIERKS BENTLEY, ALAN JACKSON and JASON ALDEAN, as well as KID ROCK, all of whom are soon to be joined by ERIC CHURCH with his new venue, CHIEF’S.
