<h3>Garth Brooks Added to &#8220;Teachers Rock&#8221; Concert!</h3>
<p><strong><a title="Garth Brooks" href="https://stubhub.prf.hn/click/camref:1100ljXyr/pubref:WPSGarth/ar:CMNBAutoLink/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stubhub.com%2Fgarth-brooks-tickets%2F">Garth Brooks</a></strong> has been added to a long list of celebrities from musicians to actors who will participate in the &#8220;<strong><em>Teachers Rock</em></strong>&#8221; concert co-sponsored by <a title="Walmart" href="https://walmrt.us/403RWTj">Walmart</a> and set to air on <strong>CBS</strong>. Brooks joins other country singers, <strong><a title="Carrie Underwood" href="https://countrymusicontour.com/carrie-underwood-tour-dates/">Carrie Underwood</a></strong> and <strong><a title="Dierks Bentley" href="https://countrymusicontour.com/dierks-bentley-concert-tour-dates/">Dierks Bentley</a></strong> in the evenings line-up.</p>
<p>The concert is intended to highlight and honor teachers across America in their educational efforts. Besides the country music guests, the event will include personal reflections by celebs from pop to rock music, like Adam Levine, Usher and Jack Black and to Hollywood stars like Jennifer Garner and Morgan Freeman&#8230;because teachers impact everyone! </p>
<p>Additionally, the benefit concert will feature scenes from Walden Media’s upcoming motion picture “<strong><em>Won’t Back Down</em></strong>,” starring Academy Award nominees Viola Davis and Maggie Gyllenhaal. The two actresses portray two determined mothers, one a teacher, who are fighting tirelessly to transform their children&#8217;s failing inner-city school. </p>
<p>The special will air <strong>LIVE</strong> right in time for the new school year on <strong>Friday, August 17</strong> from the Nokia Theatre in L.A. at <strong>8/7c</strong> (8-9 p.m. ET/PT).</p>
