<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the early morning hours of March 3rd, 2020, East Nashville was struck by a horrendous and deadly tornado. This was one of FOUR tornadoes that swept across three states overnight, leaving a path of horror in their wake. While damage, injury, and fatality reports are still flooding in as day breaks, here is what we currently know, and how you can help. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"> The <strong>American Red Cross of Tennessee</strong> said on its Twitter account that a shelter had been opened for displaced residents downtown at the Nashville Farmers Market, just north of the state capitol. <p class="wp-block-paragraph">The <strong>Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee</strong> has set up a fund to help those who have been displaced by a tornado that ripped through the area. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The organization says it has activated the Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund to support the affected communities and the nonprofits who are helping victims address their needs. <a href="https://www.cfmt.org/story/middle-tennessee-emergency-response-fund/">Click here to donate</a>. </p>
