<h3>Jo Dee Messina Takes The Stage After Competing In The Rock &#8216;n&#8217; Roll San Antonio Marathon.</h3>
<p><strong>Jo Dee Messina</strong> had a very busy day yesterday, Sunday, November 11. Not only did she run <strong>13.1 miles</strong>, she then performed for 25,000 runners to celebrate the finish of the <strong>Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Marathon &#038; ½ Marathon</strong>.</p>
<p>Messina completed the half-marathon in 2:36:50 and took the stage one hour later to headline the event’s finish line concert outside the <strong>Alamodome</strong>. To the surprise of thousands of runners in the audience, Messina performed wearing her half-marathon finishers medal, CEP compression socks and bright blue running shoes.</p>
<p>At the same event on <strong>Veterans Day</strong>, a solider, <strong>Sgt. Jonathan Gillis</strong>, having just returned from <strong>serving in Iraq for 10 months</strong> surprised his wife, <strong>Giselle</strong>, at the finish line of the race. She had no idea he would be there and broke into tears as she crossed the finish line.</p>
