<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So a few weeks ago it was announced that <strong><a title="Johnny Blue Skies" href="https://stubhub.prf.hn/click/camref:1100ljXyr/pubref:WPSJohnnyBlueSkies/ar:CMNBAutoLink/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stubhub.com%2Fsturgill-simpson-tickets%2F">Johnny Blue Skies</a></strong>, AKA <strong><a href="https://countrymusicontour.com/sturgill-simpson-returns-for-fall-tour/">Sturgill Simpson</a></strong>, was bypassing the usual streaming platforms to distribute his new album &#8220;<em>Mutiny After Midnight</em>&#8220;, due out March 13th, opening up pre-orders for physical media only. That means vinyl, cassettes and CD&#8217;s. Pre-orders sold out in record time, as did the old-school media-ripping tools for those of us that still remember how to capture a physical track to load onto an MP3 player. </p>
