“Damn shame to see another good one go
Like a whipped dog walking with his tail hung low
Another murder on music row
Another never woulda made it on the radio
Another couldn’t catch a flame cause he played too slow
And wouldn’t sing something that somebody else wrote”

“Being in Nashville for seven years, we’ve seen our fair share of artists who have given up their creativity for the sake of ‘making it.’ The song starts and it might make you think of first responders arriving at a murder scene. Instead of losing a life, it’s about all the young, aspiring musicians losing themselves in what music was never supposed to be. We thought of all the men and women that move to Nashville to chase a dream and hope to inspire all young artists to dare to be different,” says Muscadine Bloodline.

Along with the recently released single “Dyin’ For a Livin’’” this album features a brand new collection of songs that are the most raw and real yet. Dispatch to 16th Ave. showcases Muscadine Bloodline’s authentic songwriting and covers themes like love, death, cheating, heartache, murder and Southern pride. The guys used their touring band on the record instead of hiring seasoned session players and created a unique, unembellished and genuine sound. Be sure to catch the duo playing their classics along with new songs from the upcoming record on the road this Fall for their “Dyin’ For a Livin’ Tour.”

About Muscadine Bloodline
Proudly independent and unapologetically Southern, country duo Muscadine Bloodline find their true voice on their upcoming new album, Dispatch to 16th Ave. Charlie Muncaster and Gary Stanton grew up in Mobile, Alabama, but didn’t cross paths until they each started to pursue their musical dreams. In 2012, they forged a friendship when Stanton opened a show for Muncaster’s band at Soul Kitchen in Mobile. Charlie’s contemporary vocals complimented by Gary’s harmonies and masterful guitar licks showcase a powerfully refreshing mix of talent, passion and unfiltered authenticity. Since naming themselves Muscadine Bloodline in 2015, they’ve had two Billboard-charting critically-acclaimed EP’s, have sold out shows across the country, opened concerts for hundreds of artists and earned a standing ovation at their Grand Ole Opry debut in 2018. The guys’ Southern roots carry over to their band name as well: Muscadine grapes grow in the South while Bloodline represents their heritage. For more information visit muscadinebloodline.com.
