If nothing else, this is already setting up to be a phenomenal year for album releases as all of our favorite artists have had plenty of isolated time to work out their creative ideas. Morgan Wallen certainly lives up to this as we prepare for the release of not just one album, but a DOUBLE ALBUM set titled “Dangerous” this Friday, January 8th, 2021.
The release features the singles “More Than My Hometown”, and “7 Summers” which have both been receiving plenty of radio airplay love already. You’ll also get a new remix of “Heartless”, as well as a much-anticipated duet with none other than Chris Stapleton on “The Only Thing That’s Gone”.
Perhaps the most impressive thing about this album though is that in a world of song catalogs and ghostwriters, Wallen has bragging rights (along with writing credits) on 17 of the 30 tracks being released.
“The ‘double album’ idea started off as just a joke between me and my manager because we had accumulated so many songs over the past couple of years, then quarantine hit, and we realized it might actually be possible to have enough time to make it happen.”
