The 64-year-old country icon took to social media on Wednesday, May 1 to announce he’s gearing up to release his first newly-recorded song since before his 2013 stroke — a new single titled “Where That Came From.”

“It’s been a while since my last new recording,” wrote Travis alongside footage of himself in a recording studio, “but I’m excited to share that this Friday, May 3, I will be releasing my first brand new studio recording in more than a decade, ‘Where That Came From.'”
