T’s Coffee Talk Thanksgiving/ Holiday Edition

Just in time for the holidays, Trisha Yearwood’s weekly Facebook Live show, “T’s Coffee Talk”, went live from Greenville, SC and covered everything from the Country Star’s favorite song off the newly released Christmas Together collaboration with Garth Brooks, to Thanksgiving memories and an impromptu Christmas vacation in Hawaii. With one hand occupied with a selfie stick to hold the iPhone and the other filled with a cup of coffee, Trisha Yearwood and good friend Mandy took questions from fans eager to hear more. Highlights include: – At 7:05, Trisha recalls the first year she cooked Thanksgiving for Garth’s family, which was a total of 15 people! She always puts the turkey in the oven at midnight, and when she went to find it in the fridge, discovered that Garth had put the turkey in the freezer instead. Trisha had to run over to Claremore’s at midnight to save the day with a fresh turkey. Trisha says, “Those are the Thanksgiving nightmares that freak you out!” – At 9:02, Trisha addresses questions from fans on her favorite song off Christmas Together. She says, “The song I’ve been wanting to sing with Garth for 20 years is “Baby It’s Cold Outside”. “It’s really flirty and fun … I’ve been listening to it since July and I don’t get tired of listening to it at all!” – At 17:10, Trisha and Mandy discuss the difference between “stuffing” and “dressing”. Trisha says, “Well the difference is stuffing is used when you actually stuff the turkey… Stuffing implies stuffing!” ABOUT T’S COFFEE TALK: Each Saturday morning, Trisha’s Emmy-Award winning Trisha’s Southern Kitchen on Food Network is kicked off by her Facebook Live “pre-show,” T’s Coffee Talk. And on most weekends, fans can find her on the road as part of the history making, and ongoing, Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood.

Ram is the Official Truck of the Macy’s Parade and all parade floats are towed by Ram trucks. In the first #RamGivesThanks video, the No. 1 selling recording artist visited a fire station in his home state of Florida to praise the work by delivering a hot meal and saying thank you to the first responders for their service. This was very special to Corbin because his Dad was a law enforcement officer as well as a veteran and his step-brother a police officer. “#RamGivesThanks” and Ram Nation are the Ram brand’s tribute to hard-working Americans and the story of people who are the backbone of the country. Ram has partnered with Corbin several times in the past several years. He was one of five country music artists that participated in the Ram Truck brand’s 2012 “Road to the Ram Jam” sweepstakes and concert. Ram Trucks continued to work with Corbin in 2013 as part of the brand’s “Year of the Farmer” initiative highlighting the importance of farmers in America. As a former National FFA Organization member, Corbin made a series of visits and private concerts across the country to thank the hard-working and dedicated FFA members for all they do to further the notion that there’s a “farmer in all of us.” RAM NATION Ram Nation is a grassroots volunteer corps of Ram owners and like-minded people willing and ready to lend a helping hand in their communities when an opportunity arises. Eric Church on Country Music News Blog

31st Annual Country Fest, Cadott, WI Lineup Just Revealed for June 22-25. Superstar Headliners Include Blake Shelton, Eric Church, Thomas Rhett, and Alabama plus Chris Young, Dan + Shay, Brothers Osbourne, Wynonna Judd, The Oakridge Boys, Cam, The Cadillac Three & more. CADOTT, Wis. (Tuesday, November 22) – Country Fest, Cadott, Wis. Has just revealed its 2017 festival lineup, and it’s a historic celebration of the hottest acts in country past & present. The 2017 festival marks more than three decades of one of the largest and longest-running country music and camping events in the US. The multiple award-winning headliners announced this morning are BLAKE SHELTON, ERIC CHURCH, THOMAS RHETT AND ALABAMA.  Country Music Association’s 2012 “Entertainer of the Year,” five-time Male Vocalist of the Year winner, just announced American Music Award winner and GRAMMY nominee Blake Shelton continues to add to his superstar status. With 17 consecutive #1 singles, Shelton owns the record of successive #1 singles in the modern era, and has a total of 22 #1 singles. His new album, If I’m Honest, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart and the Billboard Country Album Chart. If I’m Honest has already yielded the #1 smash single, “Came Here To Forget,” and his new single “She’s Got A Way With Words.” The album features three songs written by Shelton which include the gospel tinged “Savior’s Shadow,” “Friends,” which is also featured in the #1 film, The Angry Birds Movie, and “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” a song he wrote and performs with Gwen Stefani. A member of the Grand Ole Opry, he has earned a host of awards throughout his career, including the recent People’s Choice Award for Favorite Male Country Artist. Shelton just celebrated his 10th season on NBC’s “The Voice” and recently hosted Nickelodeon’s slime-filled Kids’ Choice Awards.  Shelton is the subject of a career-spanning exhibition at the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee. Blake Shelton: Based on a True Story.  The exhibit explores the life and work of one of country music’s most popular and multi-dimensional artists. With Eric Church’s fourth album, and a brand new CMA Award under his belt for Album of the Year, Eric has said “I really see this album as a game-changer for us,” Eric Church says of the follow-up to his platinum breakthrough Chief. “I want people to understand that we’re here and that we will be reckoned with.” He will be a force to be reckoned with in Cadott this June. Although Church has already built a reputation as a restless creative force while blazing an unconventional path to country superstardom, The Outsiders represents an audacious quantum leap. The aggressive set, which consists almost entirely of Church compositions or co-compositions, finds the iconoclastic singer-songwriter-guitarist covering a dizzying amount of musical and lyrical ground, taking advantage of a wide range of sonic options to construct an adventurous, consistently thrilling ride. The result is Church’s most revealing, personally-charged statement yet—and one that challenges many of the accepted rules of contemporary country music.
