Eric Church Set To Release His First Ever Live Album In 2013. Eric Church’s fall leg of his arena headlining tour, The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour, kicks off Sept. 13. Along with that excitement, Church has revealed his plans for an early 2013 live album release. For his first-ever live album, Church will record back-to-back shows in Chattanooga, Tenn. at Tivoli Theatre on Oct. 8-9, 2012. In honor of the forthcoming release, Church wants to know what about his music first ‘captured’ his fans’ attention and is hosting the “Captured” video contest, encouraging everyone to show him visually how his music has impacted them and why. Kellie Pickler Has Shaved Her Head In Support Of Her Friend And The Breast Cancer Cause. Kellie Pickler has stood beside her best friend—a childhood friend who Pickler refers to as her “sister”—Summer Holt Miller throughout her breast cancer prognosis and subsequent treatment since receiving word of the diagnosis in June of this year, but yesterday in Nashville, Tenn., the inseparable duo took their stance against cancer one step further when they both buzzed their hair to bring awareness to the importance of early detection. Miranda Lambert Gets NBC Show

NBC Picks Up A Show Based On Miranda Lambert’s Childhood? Stories are flying that Miranda Lambert has landed a new gig as executive producer on a show based on her childhood. According to deadline.com, the family-friendly drama will be about a couple running a detective agency while raising two teenagers. Sources say that Lambert’s husband, Blake Shelton, had a part in getting the show to be on NBC, as it was previously going with ABC Family. Lambert, along with her manager, Marion Kraft and Aaron Kaplan will executive produce the show. Chad Hodge will be the writer for the project and Lambert’s parents, Bev and Rick, will be consultants for the show. There are no dates on when the show will air, but I am very excited to see how this turns out!

Miranda Lambert’s “Fastest Girl In Town,” is a feisty number that talks about a girl who basically just don’t give a flying flip! The Niagara Falls crowd got a special surprise when Urban sang the song with much intensity and ease, only having to change a few words to make it fit (“I’m running with the fastest girl in town“). The Official Music Video For Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” So the official music video for Taylor Swift‘s current single, and first release from her new album, Red, is here. “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” definitely has more of a pop sound than country, obviously. But, the music video for this just makes me say…huh? The band is dressed up as different animals, there are a few random dance scenes and Swift looks like she might have still been angry when this was shot (a lot of intense rolling of the eyes). However, the message of the song has already struck a chord with many. Especially seeing how Swift set a record for highest digital sales in a week for a song by a woman!
