Jana Kramer Tapped To Sing Jingle For Nationwide Insurance! I guess when you set out to carve a career for yourself in country music, you don’t necessarily think it will lead you to singing a jingle for an insurance company. Yet, that is exactly the case for Jana Kramer! The singer has been tapped to sing the Nationwide‘s “On Your Side” jingle for their “Join the Nation” campaign. The ads started debuting during the Olympics, and no doubt, you’ve already seen them (but we included one below…just in case!). Jana’s debut single, “Why Ya Wanna” is on the charts right now, and when she isn’t lending her voice for insurance ads, you can find find her on tour with Brady Paisley! Miley Cyrus On Two and A Half Men

Miley Cyrus Snags Recurring Guest Role On Two and A Half Men. It looks like country singer/teen queen Miley Cyrus will be returning to the small screen. Rumor (as in, take this with a grain of salt) has it that she is slated for a recurring guest role on the long-running CBS sitcom, Two and A Half Men. Apparently, the 19 year old, who recently announced her engagement to Liam Hemsworth, will play the love interest for teenage character, Jake Harper. It doesn’t stop there though, there is supposedly a love triangle in the works as Ashton Kutcher’s character harbors a bit of a crush on the young woman. I’m sorry, but that’s just a little creepy. So, kind of hoping that that part isn’t true, but kudos to her if she really landed the role! I wonder if this means noone should be expecting new music from Miley anytime soon. She recently released a video for her Bob Dylan cover, and it seemed she was getting back in touch with her country roots a little. Maybe it was just a quick detour? Explore the possibilities behind Taylor Swift’s live webchat with us! The anticipation is killing us as we wait for tomorrow to roll around. As you probably already know, Taylor Swift took to YouTube last week to invite fans to a special live webchat event so that she can share some big news. Now we’ve spent the last week combing the web to see if we can guess the announcement. Heck, some of us are even placing bets on what it will be. Here’s what we’ve got so far: We believe that Taylor will be announcing the release date for her new album, and that date will be before September 30th (In order for an album to be considered for a 2013 Grammy, it has to be released by September 30th this year). We also believe that the first leg of her accompanying tour will be announced, with all secondary market (mid-sized cities) dates, and that tour will most likely begin in early November, with a major-market (big city) tour to follow in the spring. She could be announcing an engagement to her latest love Conor Kennedy (paired with her sudden publicity around this relationship and the purchase of a $4.9Million dollar home in the Kennedy compound this isn’t so far-fetched.) She could also be sharing the news of her upcoming starring role in the film “Girls Like Us” where she will play the part of Joni Mitchell. Cadillac Black Jumps On Board Dierks Bentley’s August Tour. Cadillac Black has officially announced that they will be joining Dierks Bentley‘s Back To College Tour this August. The dates include visits to The University of Georgia on August 20th, The University of South Carolina on August 21st, and The University of Mississippi on August 22nd. This isn’t the first run-in the group has had with Dierks. They have been tapped to open for him in the past, and lead vocalist Jaren Johnston just completed producing Bentley’s Country & Cold Cans EP which will release on August 21st. “I’m so excited to have had the chance to produce the EP. Dierks and his band have such a great vibe and play so well together. Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire and More Lend Voices to Soles4Souls! Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire, Kieth Urban and 16 other country artists have lent their voices on a new track to benefit Nashville based non-profit, Soles4Souls. The single is titled “The Choice“, and proceeds will go directly to support the non-profit whose mission it is to provide shoes to those who need them, in the United States and other countries abroad. To date, the organization has provided shoes for more than 30,000 people worldwide. Other artists featured on the track include Josh Turner, Vince Gill, Billy Gilman, Rodney Atkins, Kellie Pickler, Craig Morgan, Kenny Rogers, LeAnn Rimes, Steve Holy, Wynonna Judd, Amy Grant, Ronnie Milsap, Randy Travis, Craig Morgan and Montgomery Gentry. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Vegas Soul 2 Soul

Country music powercouple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill announce a limited engagement concert series at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada where they will showcase their blockbuster Soul II Soul show. Tim and Faith are set to begin the limited run on December 7th, and only play on weekends to better work around their daughters’ school schedules, finishing in April. “This will be a moment in time in our careers,” McGraw, 45, said Tuesday of the Soul2Soul series, which will feature 40 shows in an intimate 1,800-seat theater through April 2013. “We will be parachuting in and out of the city,” Hill, 44, says. “Our children are pretty thrilled for us though.” No word yet on whether this double-decker of a headliner show will hit the road come summer, but if I had to guess, my answer would be a resounding yes!

Craig Morgan’s 6th Annual Charity Weekend Is Just Days Away! Craig Morgan’s 6th annual charity weekend is right around the corner and the country music star and award-winning TV host is excited to announce the final list of music, motocross, and celebrity friends joining him for the weekend’s festivities. On Saturday, August 11, motocross stars Destry Abbott, Fred Andrews, Cowboy Kenny Bartram, Randy Hawkins, Kevin Windham, and country star Bucky Covington will take part in an exhibition and trail ride in Vanleer, Tennessee. Later that night, country music star Darryl Worley and HLN “Morning Express” host and “Brand New Day” singer Robin Meade along with the evening’s emcee, GAC host and TV personality Nan Kelley, will take the stage in concert with Morgan to support the Craig Morgan Charity Fund. On Sunday, August 12th the popular Celebrity Sporting Clay Event will take place from the Tennessee Clay Target Complex in Nashville. This year’s event, a 12-station course, will feature an exhibition by “The Ultimate Shooter” Tim Bradley. Proceeds from the two-day event will benefit the Craig Morgan Charity Fund, a component fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. The Craig Morgan Charity Fund continues to raise funds to establish Billy’s Place, an organization that will benefit foster children in Dickson County and throughout Middle Tennessee.
