Charles Wesley Godwin returns to the Grand Ole Opry tonight

Charles Wesley Godwin returns to the Grand Ole Opry tonight, ahead of the release of his third album and Big Loud Records debut Family Ties, out this Friday, Sept. 22. It will be Godwin’s second Opry performance of the year, following his debut in February. On Thursday, Sept. 21, Godwin will perform in his home state of West Virginia at Healing Appalachia, a three-show benefit for Hope in the Hills, which helps support recovery efforts around central Appalachia. Godwin joins a line-up that includes Tyler Childers, Jason Isbelland the400 Unit, Trey Anastasio, and Marcus King.

In honor of CMT Action Month this September, the Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease Research Foundation (CMTRF) is excited to unveil a month-long lineup of events, bringing together artists, advocates, and the CMT community from across the U.S. The series of events aim to raise awareness and critical funds for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT) research. With an estimated one in 2,500 individuals affected—the same prevalence as multiple sclerosis—the urgency for further research and treatment has never been greater. American Country Network Set To Launch in 2024

Former CEO of The Country Network Tommy Snyder and Noah Gordon, President of 8 Track Entertainment, have partnered to launch the American Country Network (ACN), a new national country music television network based in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to over-the-air broadcast, the new network will launch a streaming platform in Q1 of 2024 to include ROKU, Sling TV, LG TV, STIRR, Freebie TV, Amazon TV, Apple TV, IOS and Android.
