Reba McEntire Performs at Brickyard 400

Reba Plus Other Big Machine Artists Set to Perform at Brickyard 400.

Reba McEntire along with fellow Big Machine Label Group artists Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry and others are performing at the 2011 Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Sunday, July 31st from 9am to shortly after 1pm. Big Machine Records is the presenting sponsor of the race, so it makes complete sense that they would offer up some of their best for the pre-race entertainment. The label’s president, Scott Borchetta, is a long time supporter of racing, and the label actually sponsored the winning car in this year’s Indianapolis 500.

Newbie Thomas Rhett kicks off the performances followed by The Band Perry, Brantley Gilbert, and Justin Moore. Reba performs “America the Beautiful” before Rascal Flatts finishes up the performances with their personalized rendition of the national anthem. At the close of the musical performances, Borchetta has the honor of waving the green flag marking the start of the races.

This is sure to be a fun Sunday event for racing and country enthusiasts (not always exclusive!) alike!
